Landscape Principles & Open Space Provision
- Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) basins to be located to the north of the site. These will benefit wildlife and resident wellbeing, as well as functioning as a water control system.
- Existing trees and hedgerows will be retained where possible and improved with additional tree, hedgerow and scrub painting.
- New paths providing recreation along with walking and cycling routes to the wider area.
- Public parkland providing play, fitness and wellbeing, as well as grassland, wetland, woodland and scrub habitat helping to improve biodiversity on site.
- Play areas spread across the site, to encourage doorstep play and to ensure all areas are adequately catered for.
